Promises, instruction and the benefits of His wisdom

Today is your day, the day I prepared just for you. It’s comes with many “things” all of which you asked for first. I heard your prayer on last night so I took upon myself to make the necessary changes that you asked for. I already had a plan for your life and I had a plan for your day that you didn’t seem to take into consideration. And you wanted your will and not my will to be done. I am the Lord, the one that knows all things and the creator of it all, and I also know what’s best for you. My love for you is great and it’s not by chance that you are where you are, because I knew you would be right where you are. I have kept you thus far and I’m the only one who holds the blueprint that shows the ins and outs, the ups and the downs of your life. Don’t you trust me? Don’t you love me?  I thought you said we had a relationship, a relationship filled with joy, peace, and of course love that passes all understanding. I have for you good health, wisdom and most of all soul salvation, all of which seems not to be good enough for you. Take a look around you and tell me what you see? The light that I call day and the darkness that I call night, yes, that was my creation that was given on the first day while I already had you in mind. The waters that are gathered into place and by obedience know how far to come onto dry land, yes, again that was I.  The birds in the air, yes, that was I, we created them on them on the fifth day to be a blessing and to fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. They neither sow nor reap yet my father provides for them. Are you not much better than they are? So I say to you, take no thought for your life what you should eat or drink or what you should put on your body for these entire things do unbelievers worry about, but your heavenly fathers knows that you have a need for all these things. Look to your heavenly father first, and all the other things will also be given to you. Not your will but his will be done

Genesis 1:1-31; Isaiah 45:18-23; Matthew 6:1-34; John 1:1-5. John 17:10-1

Lord, I thank you for who you are and the provisions you have already have stored up for me. You are the creator of all things, and I now recognize that you know what’s best for me. It was you who laid the foundations of the earth and uses the wings of the wind as your standing place. You created all things including me and I ask not my will but your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  I do profess that you are the author and finisher of my faith and it is through you that I live, move and have my being. Lord please forgive me of my selfish ways and all my sins knowingly and unknowingly that I have committed. I pray for a restored relationship with you and the willpower not to seek things from your hand, but to seek your face and your glory. Thank you Lord for your forgiveness and help me in all my weakness to stand strong on your living word. Lord I do love you and trust you, and I thank you for your love you’ve had for me since the beginning of day. I also profess you are my God and I your child and I pray this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus the Christ, Amen.

God’s Gracious Work

Take me by the hand and hold on to me, I’ll show you the way, the way of truth and the way of life. You have experienced so much and you seek and ask of me to remove your hurts and remove your pain and you ask me to remove the darkness that surrounds you that comes from deep within, but don’t be dismayed into believing that I don’t hear you and because you think I have not responded. I hear your deep cry and I see your silent tears. Your knees are weak and your heart may be heavy, but I want you to know that my grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in your weakness. I don’t expect you to rely on your own strength, I expect you to rely on me. I carried the cross of your afflictions up the hill of Golgotha and it was I, and only I that endured that pain for you, why, because I love you. Lean on me, just as I carried the cross I will carry you. I saved you not according to your goodness but I saved you according to my mercies toward you. Trust in me and do good and dwell in the land and you will be fed. Delight yourself also in me and I will give you the desires of you heart.

2 Corinthian 12:9, Psalm 37:1-4,  John 19:16-17

Lord, you are the most Holy one and I love you because you first loved me. I rejoice in knowing that you saved me and my life is better because you endured the cross for me. I know there is nothing I can do to pay you back for all you’ve done for me only to love others as you have loved me. Thank you Lord Jesus for extending your grace and extending your mercies toward me while carrying me through the dark days of my life. My days are much lighter and my life is much brighter because you are part of it. Jesus I want to know more about you so Lord, please teach me your ways and lead me into the truth of your word. In Jesus name, Amen

Beyond Your Imagination

Give me your hand; even better give me your heart. I have prepared a place for you where there is peace that passes your understanding. No one else can give you this kind of peace. This kind can only come from my father.  I know you say that you can’t imagine having peace like this, that it’s unbelievable but let me tell you it’s true. You don’t think you can have it because you are not prepared because you keep reminding yourself of things you’ve done in the past. But those things I remember not. Your past is just that, it is your past. I have given you a new life and old things have passed away behold all things are new. Don’t look back but press forward to the new things that I have for you. My father can give you these things new because he sent me to die for you. Freely I came and freely I went doing His will not for me but just for you. Remember that I love you and so the path has already been prepared for you. I’ve even given you light on the way. My word will shine bright before you.  Give me your hand and I’ll guide you all the way but if you give me your heart I can carry you there.

Heavenly Father and our soon coming King, You are wonderful and you are my bright and morning star. Thank you for that prepared place where I can bow at your feet. I can only imagine what you have prepared for me and I can only image how I will feel standing before you in peace. Help me to renew my heart and renew my mind and forget the things of the past and embrace all things new. I surrender to you and ask for you to surround me with your glory. As I stand in your presence I can feel that peace all around me as warm as your created sun. Thank you for giving your blood that I may live with you forever in Jesus Christ name, Amen

Speak To Me

I’ve created this process to communicate with you. I know your ways and I know your thoughts. Prayer is my way of drawing closer to you and you drawing closer to me. I hear your voice crying to me, crying early in the morning and even late in the evening, directing your prayers to me. Speak to me in your quiet time, remove all distractions from around you and concentrate on me. Focus on my goodness towards you and let the brightness of my glory rest with you. Come into my house and in the multitude of my mercies. Can you feel my presence, my touch and my warmth resting on your shoulders providing you comfort and peace? This is how I want you to feel each time you come into my presence and then carry it with you throughout your day. If you spend time with me I will let you know what to do, I can protect you from the weight of the world’s pressure coming against you. Never rush off and forget our time together hold it close to you, meditate on my words and let it sink into your soul. I give you instructions and not only that, I can provide you joy when we are together. Open your heart and open your mind, hear me when I speak. Can you hear me or is the world’s noise too loud for you? Concentrate on me, close your eyes and concentrate on me.

Father, I thank you for your grace and mercies today. I spoke to you and you heard me, you remembered me and did not turn away from me. I thank you for providing a way for me to communicate with you and help me to feel your presence with me always. I know that this is a day that you made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Tell me your way; tell me more about the things that please you. Help me to concentrate on you and your way so that I will not sin against you. Lord again I thank you for our time spent together. I will always cherish this time and look forward to the next day, the next moment and the next hour of our time together, In Jesus name, Amen.

I understand your hurts, and I understand your pains. I want you to look to me, I created you; I created this entire world including everything in it. Come closer to me and I will ease your pain and I will dry your tears and help you to stand. You may not know but I am with you, every breath that you take and every step that you make I am there. Just like Moses told the children of Israel, And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you, He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed. You are strong because that is how I created you. I understand you may feel weak and even defeated, but that is how the enemy wants you to feel. But I know you better than the enemy does and my love for you will help you to be strong. Every battle that you face I have already provided a way out, I have already given you the weapons to use in time of trouble. Trust me, trust my word. I am not a man that I shall lie, neither the son of man that I should repent. I Love you and never want to see you hurt.  Come, come to me and I will give you rest.

Heavenly Father, thank you for helping me and healing me, even in my storm of hurt and pain, I recognize that it is you and only you that can give me the strength to stand strong today and always. When things go wrong in my life I know I can always depend on you to help me because you said you will always be with me and I can trust you and your love to guide me through. Lord, you have given me your word and I thank for loving me and thank you for creating a safe haven for rest in your arms that I can go to in my time of need. Lord I love you and I am overwhelmed with joy that you first loved me. Keep me and guide me always, in Jesus name, Amen.

Inside Out

There’s a war going on! No, I’m not talking about the war we know about that our American Military men and women are fighting. And I want to take the time out to say thank you to all the men and women that put their lives on the line for our country. This is not the war that I’m speaking of. I’m speaking of the war, the struggle, the confusion that we have going on inside us every day that no one sees and that no one knows about, only you. We can only see you from the outside, yes, you are well put together with hair in place and beautiful cloths, nails and shoes, but on the inside spiritually you are a mess struggling daily with the battle of right and wrong; yes I should-no I shouldn’t, low self-esteem, sexual addiction, substance abuse, anger,  you love him [her], but he [she] don’t love you shame and much more, What is going on? Well, the enemy has you bound and the enemy does not want you to be free, successful, confident, happy or have peace and every time you try to break free from any of these issues he tries to convince you that your life has no meaning, he pulling one way and you’re pulling the opposite. He wants you to be defeated and to believe that you can’t do without these addictions when in fact your life is very important and you can live with those things. You can make the right choices and find true love and they love you back. You can have victory over your problems. You have found comfort in these issues and there is so much fog around you from these things that you can’t see your hand in front of your face.

The bible tells us that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, (contending only with physical opponents), but against principalities, against powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere” (Ephesians 6:12 Amp). But if you go 2 verses up you will find that it states, “In conclusion, be strong [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. Put on the whole armor of God [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies] that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all]the strategies and the deceits of the devil”. The devil only has as much power over you that you give him, and you should never give him any! Give no place to the devil. God gave us his authority and we can use the authority of God’s word to use against the devil in Jesus’ name.  You can break free, free from every issue that has you bound. I know you may be thinking  “No I can’t” but I’m here to tell you “YES YOU CAN!” You are strong and capable and the Lord wants you to have peace through Him and He is capable of supplying that peace to you. It’s time to let those things go, whatever is on the inside needs to come out. What is buried deep within let loose of all those negative things. Today is a new day, and you don’t have to take it anymore. Again we find the answer in the word of God. The word of God tells us to “Stand therefore[hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. Lift up over all the covering shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one] and take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the spirit wields, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people). Ephesians 6:14-18. Amp.

Today I want you to know If you renew you mind you can renew your life. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Pray this prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I love you and ask you for forgiveness of my sins. Cleanse me and save me from all unrighteousness, and renew in me a right spirit. I thank you Lord for your divine grace and mercy that is supplied to me daily and I thank you that I can find strength in you and it is through your bountiful strength that I can break free from those issues that have had me bound. It is only through you that I can find true peace and true love and I stand in your presence asking that you supply me with those truths. Thank You Lord for supplying all that I need even before I ask because you are God and know all that I need. Help me to walk in wisdom and stand on the firm knowledge of your word, and teach me the true way of the life that you want me to have. In Jesus name, Amen

Happy New Year!

Well, it’s a New Year and we have all have made our New Year resolutions. Did you resolve to lose weight, or stop smoking, spend more time with family or just take better care of yourself? We all stayed up late on Dec. 31 with anticipation to the New Year. Some chose to bring the new year in at a party celebrating, some went to church while others choose to stay home, but however you all chose to end one year and bring in another and however many resolution you chose to make, did you take any time to meditate on the word of God and ask Him this one question, Lord, what would you have me to do this next year? 1 Corinthians 2:9 states, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those that love him”.

God has already prepared many things for you throughout this year and your whole life and we live year to year, day to day and even moment to moment and forget to ask him what kind of life he wants for us. He is the creator of all things including us, and if anyone would know what we should be doing, God would. God is omniscience, meaning He is all knowing. His level and capacity of knowledge about you and all things is Infinite. He has already put in place his plan for you and his plan for your life.  It would be nice to find out from him his plan before you make yours. The Lord told the prophet Jeremiah, in the book of Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you, and before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you and ordained you a prophet unto the nations”. So if he knew Jeremiah from the womb, he also knew you and sanctified you.

We can get so caught up and distracted with the traditions of this world by making un-kept resolutions that we easily forget that we did not create ourselves and that God our creator knows us better than we know ourselves. He already has a laid out plan for you just waiting for you to get on the path and follow it. He never wants to see you fail and when we make constant decisions in life without ever consulting He who gave life we fail to reach our goals with satisfaction. It’s good to set goals for ourselves and with the Lords help we can achieve them.

I know you want this year to be better than last year, even if you were satisfied with how last year was, and there is nothing wrong with making a resolution to have a better year, but before you make another resolution, before you make another future decision, resolve to pray and seek the Lord and include Him in all your decisions throughout the rest of the year and soon it will become a habit and you will never make another decision with Him.

Jesus stated in Matthew 7:7-8, “Ask, and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be open unto you: for everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be open”.  Watch God not only bless you with what you ask, but he can bless you with what you haven’t even thought to ask. He already knows what you have need of, and because he loves you I know he is willing to make sure you have it.

Have a very Happy and Safe New Year. Remember Jesus Christ Loves You, even more than you love yourself.

Our Life

Our Life

When I look beyond myself, what do I see? Beauty so deep, felt even within me

Unable to understand how much more precious life can be
I see the color so brilliant, and before me breath within, that feeds me

You, He, She- tell me what you see? I never take for granted what life means to me

I listen to you and feel your happiness, your joy, but also your pain

Each tear how warm it can be, but only when used to express the you in life

You mean so much and you are a part of what life is all about
And without you there is no me

We are connected by only one thing,
it’s a breath of beauty that there is no word, although someone described it as gold

The light that shines from you can bring warmth to my soul
Never forget how beautiful that one life can be

Touch it, hold it, and bring it close to you, How do you feel?
Life, it’s in you and you and you and even in me, bright color beauty a twinkle and a smile

Your walk, your laugh, your hair and even how you talk
I can see it, yes it’s there

Life, oh so sweet!

So when I look beyond me, all I see, is me

Lord, You are a wonderful God. You are an awesome God. You have given precious life and kept us in your loving arms. I thank you for keeping me through the tough times and kept me from hurt, harm and danger that was seen and unseen. Father you spoke and light appeared you breathed your breath and life started, how wonderful you are. Lord I love that you knew me from my mother’s womb, and set a plan for my life. I pray for your help to follow the plan that you laid out for me and help me walk in your Glory. In Jesus Name, Amen

Attitudes from Prison

We don’t often think of ourselves as prisoners in this day and time, and I know you may be thinking “You’re not talking about me!” You may be looking around where you are and saying this doesn’t look like a prison to me, I’m safe in my home or work or safe even in the church, but in reality we may not be physically in prison with gun toting guards walking around, watching our every move or we may not be living in a small cell with metal bars all around us but some of us are mentally living a life that is somewhat or maybe even totally bound by the clutters of this world, which may make us feel like we are living a life captive by such huge obstacles that hinder us from moving forward. Some of the prison walls that surround us may include fear, sickness, disgrace, low self-esteem, pride and maybe even unbelief. How can we tear down the prison walls of bondage and remove these many obstacles and walk in a life of freedom? How can we break out and escape to the freedom that can only come from God?

Each of these obstacles can be addressed individually because each of them carries a burden of weight that takes much strength, stamina, courage and prayer to tackle. Yes, we have a few obstacles that we need to remove, but God has provided us a way of escape and even if all these problems are bundled together, he can still accomplish the greater goal of breaking us free. All negative obstacles can be viewed as vicious enemies that come to kill, steal and destroy our lives. And unless we renew our minds as told to us in Romans 12:1-3, we will not be able to walk in the life that he has laid down for us.

When Paul and Silas were thrust into a physical prison in the book of Acts chapter 16, they were shackled at the feet unable to move about freely, and left to die with not much help that they could rely on. They had been beaten and accused of the crime of preaching the word of God and helping to show others the way to true salvation, but it was their attitude that makes this heartbreaking story so profound. Although they were left to die in prison, beaten, and given no hope of freedom, it was their love, trust and belief that they had for our Lord Jesus Christ that would change everything about their situation. It was at the darkest hour of their lives and one of the darkest times in their ministry that they began to pray and sing praises unto God right in the mist of their troubles. Although their situation seemed hopeless and they were encamped about with walls of bondage all around them they offered prayer and praise to God right then and right there. They were not overcome by their problems anymore, nor were they focused on their situation, but they kept a positive, enlightened and focused attitude on God even while in bound in prison. They understood who their Lord was, they knew who their help was and they knew where their help would come from. Isaiah 59:1 says “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you that he will not hear”. Their focus was so much on God and their love for Him was so great that He delivered them in that very hour. They were set free! They did not hold grudges with the prison guards nor did they go after those that beat them and place them in prison. Their attitude was only that of love, prayer and praise to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So, how do you approach your situations and problems? What kind of attitude do you have towards God and towards life? Are you focused so much on your problems that you can’t focus on the Lord? Do you trust him to deliver you from bondage? Well, He can do it!

Psalm 46:1 tells us that “God is our refuge and strength, a present help in trouble”. We can have confidence in him to deliver us from our fears and he is the God of all our battles. Psalm 34:4 states “I sought the Lord and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears”. He’s waiting on you, He hears your cries and he knows your pain. He loves you with an unconditional love like only He can have and He is willing and ready to deliver you, set you free and place you on a path toward spiritual freedom.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I want to thank you, I want to thank you for your son Jesus and I thank you for your divine Grace and tender Mercies that you have so graciously provided to me every day. Lord, I come to you for help, help to break loose from the shackles and bondage that keeps me from experiencing true freedom that only you can provide. In my own understanding I cannot see my way, but I pray that my mind is renewed in you and that I have new understanding and new wisdom to follow you through my life’s journey and follow you on the pathway to righteousness. I no longer want to live a life in bondage and I desire to live according to your will and purpose for my life. Help me Lord, and show me the way. Thank you Lord for providing a way of escape and the way to freedom in you, and without you I recognize I will continue in darkness. I thank you that Jesus said in John 14:6 that he is the way, they truth and the life and no one can come to the Father except by Him. Thank you for allowing me to follow your dear son Jesus and providing a greater love from him to me. I love you Lord and it is in our Lord Jesus Christ name I pray, Amen.

Power Without Destruction

Genesis 1:1 tells us that “in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and the earth was without form and void”. But if you continue to read we find out that everything that we see God spoke it into existence using his power not for destruction but for creation. Not out of madness but out of love. He spoke and the waters were gathered into one place and he let the day land appear. All thing are subject to God because he is the creator of all things. Take a look in the night sky and every star unable to be counted by man but numbered even so by God. The bright moon to light the darkness, yes he put it there!.

This writing was inspired from the book of Job. We only take from it a small part so take time to really read it and meditate on it daily. Chapter 26 states it so profoundly,  “Hell is naked before him and destruction hath no covering. The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. He divided the sea with his power and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. By his spirit he garnished the heavens, his hand hath formed the crooked serpent”. Verse 14 states “Lo these are parts of his ways, but his power who can understand?

So the next time you look upon the earth in awe and take for granted his glory and you yourself who is so wonderfully and marvelously created also by God, and not believe it was he who did it or believe man has all the answers or that destruction by collision of a “Big Bang” was how it all came together ask yourself….Where were you when he created the earth since you know so much. Who came up with the blueprints and measurements? Who decided on the size, Certainly you”ll know that! How was its foundation poured and who set the cornerstone, why that was God! While the morning stars sang in chorus and all the angels shouted praise? And who took charge of the ocean when it gushed forth like a baby from the womb? That was God! He wrapped it in soft clouds and tucked it in safely at night, then made a playpen for it, a strong playpen so it couldn’t run loose and said “stay here this is you place, your wild tantrums are confined to this place. And have you ever ordered Morning, ‘Get up!’ To the Dawn, ‘Go to work!’ Have you ever traveled to where snow is made, seen the vault where hail is stockpiled. Can you find your way to where lightning is launched or to the place from which the wind blows? And who do you think is the father of rain and dew, the mother of ice and frost? You don’t for a minute imagine these marvels of weather just happen, do you?

God runs the universe, the creator of all things both great and small, all power is in his hands. No one can escape God. Take a long hard look. See how great he is, infinite and greater than anything you could ever imagine or figure out. Listen to it! Listen to his thunder, the rolling rumbling thunder of his voice. He lets loose his lightning from horizon to horizon, lighting up the earth from pole to pole. In their wake the thunder echos his voice powerful and majestic.

God then wants to know,  Now what do you have to say for yourself? Are you going to haul me, the mighty One into court and press charges?”. Job states, I’m speechless, in awe, words fail me. I should never have opened my mouth! I’ve talked too much, way too much I’m ready to shut up and listen”. Now that you know a small part of how powerful yet loving he is it’s easy to let him know, “I admit, I once lived by rumors of you, no I didn’t have it all first hand from my own eyes and ears! I’m sorry forgive me I’ll never do that again, I promise. I’ll never again live on crusts of hearsay, crumbs or rumors”.

Yes, it was God, this whole time it was God. Oh how easily it is for us to want to believe something else and how quickly we want for everything to fit into our box that we know as are minds.  If you really sit back and wait you can feel the warmth of his touch without human hands, his breath so soft and sweet upon your face. You can even feel his beating heart next to yours as he embraces you and whispers to you  ever so softly “I love you, no one will ever love you as much as I do”. Mighty God! Far beyond our reach. Unsurpassable in power and justice! It’s unthinkable that he’d treat anyone unfairly. So bow to him in deep reverence one and all! If you’re wise, you’ll most certainly worship him in spirit and in truth!

Live Life and Love Somebody
